Temporary key

Registered users of Trigger can request a temporary software key in the event that their hardware license device (dongle) has been damaged or mislaid. In some circumstances a temporary key can be issued if you have ordered a hardware key that is not going to arrive with you in time. A temporary key will be valid for a maximum of two weeks. The cost of a temporary software key is £50.

Please contact us directly including your name and company name, if appropriate. We will also need your Machine Id, which is found by running Trigger and looking under HELP: CHANGE KEY: TOOLS: TEMPORARY SOFTWARE KEY. If you have previously used a hardware key, then please also include the “Latest Dongle Id” which can be found under HELP: LICENCE INFORMATION…. PLEASE NOTE that unless you have very recently ordered your Trigger Hardware License Key, you MUST supply your Latest Dongle Id so that we can identify your account.  Temporary keys are issued strictly at our discretion and payment needs to be made before we can issue the key.
